"In the 1950s, suvlaki shops opened up across Greece. Suvlaki is a meat skewer grilled over charcoal. It can be eaten on its own or in a pita. It's Greece's national street food." We were commissioned by the lovely people over at "Suvlaki" to bring a folklore Greek lettering style to Soho (London). In the store front we hand painted the Greek poem Ithaca by C.P. Cavafy. We also provided some graffiti lettering in the inside and additional lettering on other applications as well. Art Direction by Afroditi Krassa LTD Freestyle lettering by tind Καλή Όρεξη!
