From rare early films to innovative contemporary pieces, these works offer authentic, independent perspectives on Palestine’s rich history, culture, and the lived experiences of its people worldwide. For a brief moment, the city of Athens was filled with bright red gazelles. The gazelle, a timeless emblem of Palestine, stands as a symbol of its people—steadfast, beautiful, and free, despite the trials of history. It embodies the soul of this year’s festival, where each film is a leap of courage, a whisper of hope, and a defiant testament to the enduring connection to the land.
